What The? Part 3 of 4Ria continued to laugh as she and Elspeth made their way through the phyrexianized Tangle.
"I can't believe that just happened," said Elspeth.
"Obliterators are intimidating, not smart," laughed Ria.
As Elspeth and Ria continued on, a Plague Myr dashed across their path. Seconds later there was a rumbling. Elspeth and Ria ducked for cover as a Spine Biter came charging by, chasing after the Plague Myr.
"That reminds me. Elspeth, we have to be extra careful here. Predation rules the Tangle. There will always be something hunting something," said Ria.

Primal WussUrabrask was overseeing the processes of the furnace layer of New Phyrexia when there was a flash of blue light. Urabrask turned around and saw a muscular man, wearing an old helmut.
"Urabrask, praetor of the furnaces of New Phyrexia?"
Urabrask stared at the man for a moment before he replied:
"I am."
"I am Garruk Wildspeaker," the man began, "and I've come looking for you."
Urabrask was surprised but he hid it from Garruk.
"I am one of the greatest hunters of the multiverse," Garruk began, " I've hunted the greatest beasts each world had to offer and I always showed my dominace."
Garruk grinned at Urabrask and said:
"I challenge you!
What The? Part 1 of 4Elspeth Tirel rode across Mirrodins's battle scarred Glimmervoid. Her Chrome Steed bore many scratches, dents, and knicks from their many phyrexian run-ins. She finally reached an Auriok encampment on the edge of the Razor Fields. Elspeth dismounted and went over to the nearest person and asked:
"Where is the Hero of Bladehold, Ria Ivor?"
"Standing behind you," came a voice from behind Elspeth.
Elspeth turned and came face-to-face with a woman with short white hair.
"I'm Ria Ivor."
"I'm Elspeth Tirel. Koth sent me to find you. He and Melira need your help at the Tangle."
After a few moments Elspeth and Ria were off riding toward the Tan
The DuelIt was a beautiful, sunny autumn day. A cool breeze blew through the air, ruffling Jace Beleren's cloak. Jace was too deep in thought to notice. He was very troubled by a decision he would soon have to make. He helds three small parchments. He studied the markings on the parchments very intensely, hoping they would give him a clue to what he should do next.
"Hey! Mind Sculptor!"
Jace looked up from the parchments and took notice of Chandra Nalaar, who was across from him, holding two parchments of her own.

Balefire Dragon belongs maybe not on a HORROR plane, so to speak, but Innistrad is also a gothic plane, and Balefire's design is a clearly influenced by the snarling grotesques populating gothic architecture.

I've read something like this in the design notes of Innistrad. IMHO Balefire Dragon belongs in Innistrad.
However, this doesn't change the fact that this comic is pretty darn funny.

I was also thinking of what this dragon does here. But I guess that I'll stick to the knowledge that dragons often seems to stumble on portals of various kinds since they seems to exist on so many planes.

But the card "Scorch the fields" are even stranger, it's not even a gotic dragon. It's a regular one! If that picture did not ended up planeswalking I would guess that the card will be reprinted in a maybe not so close future.
